Our group meets monthly for outings with a theme of natural history, which will vary according to the time of year. These often include visits to nature reserves, with a guide, who can help with identification and give us local information.

The last meeting of the year is held indoors in November, to offer an opportunity for the members to show their nature photos and to put together our programme for the following year. We aim to have different members of the group as organisers for each outing.

All the outings start at 10.00 unless advertised differently.
In general the outings last 2 hours , followed by a packed lunch or the opportunity to eat out.

A reasonable fitness is required, as although we walk at a slow pace, the paths can be uneven.

Although the group is currently full, there is a waiting list for interested members.
